The Batesville Preservation Association holds a number of events each year to encourage and recognize homeowners' preservation and restoration of their properties. Its alternating Christmas and Spring Tours of Historic Homes have attracted hundreds of visitors over the years. In addition, its annual awards reception recognizes property owners for significant improvements to their historic properties, while its annual grants program helps homeowners make needed repairs. Finally, BPA hosts periodic block parties in the historic districts to bring together long-time neighbors and introduce new residents to the community.
